The Bilikiki has just come back from a awesome 7 right trip with a fantastic bunch of divers, it was the first of the season so we were very excited to get going for 2023! A big thank you to Harold Batch and everyone in his group for a great time.
Dive wise we had some cracking dives with everyone agreeing that the dives at Ben’s Point at Mary Island and Rainbow Reef in the Russell Islands were highlights. Tanavula Point and Petrol Point in the Florida Islands were also pretty magical! We all enjoyed the coral and tons of fish dives we also had lots of fun looking for critters at Maravagi Bay, and among the WW2 wreckage at White Beach and on the reef after seeing the Mavis Seaplane. We had sharks, rays, schools of barracudas, jacks, milkfish, unicorn fish and so many fusiliers! On the critter side we saw octopus, cuttlefish, squid, different nudis and the cutest juvenile snappers and sweetlips ever! Plus orang-utan crabs, different types of pipefish, cowries, mantis shrimp and crocodile fish.
A big thank you to the Bilikiki crew and to the onboard managers Tina and Oli for all their hard work in making it such a great trip! I can't wait to be back!
