We have been lucky enough to have two brilliant trips with groups from Our Beloved Seas onboard, led by Wendy Brown and Dr. Richard Smith. Everyone was super interested in the presentations given by Dr. Richard Smith on some of the rarer or often overlooked or endemic fish found in the Solomon Islands. It was exciting that we not only learned about these unique species but also managed to find many of them during our dives. Some of the guest were also conducting REEF fish surveys and it was interesting for them to share with us the number of species found on certain dive sites.
